January 27th Josh Cook was involved in a serious accident on Highway 395.  The Washington State Patrol said the crash happened when a driver made an illegal U-turn in the middle of the highway in front of an oncoming truck.

The driver of the pick-up truck, Joshua Cook, has suffered tremendous losses. He suffers from a severe brain concussion, back and neck injuries, and has medical bills for treatments and tests that are far above, and beyond the $5,000 medical coverage from his auto policy. His medical insurance will not cover the specialists or treatment for these types of injuries (not normal health risks). He also is losing money daily by not being able to run his business, and has no money available to hire a crew to replace him to sell, install and maintain goods and services from his store. This does not include his wages that he is losing while not working.

As of 4/26/2016, he has not yet been completely diagnosed to know the total brain damage and the extent of his injuries. Unfortunately, the expenses accrued from the the car that caused the accident will exceed their policy coverage, in turn leaving nothing to assist Josh. After 3 months of the medical bills, and the loss of business and wages, the cost to Josh will probably be well over $100,000.00. And, none of it was his fault. There is a possibility that Josh will be reimbursed some of his loss by his own insurance policy, but that may take a long while, if ever.

Josh is a very responsible, loving husband and father of four sons. This is a family in need, who is accustomed to giving the help instead of needing it. Please help support these wonderful people by doing what you can to help them through this difficult time.
